MULCIBER, (Mythol.) surnom de Vulcain chez les Latins ; ce surnom ne pouvoit échapper à Milton, en appliquant la fable de la chûte du ciel que fit Vulcain à celle des mauvais anges : mais il faut dire comme ce poëte peint cette terrible chûte.
