Welcome to the Open Siddur Project's transcription of the Rabbi Arnaud Aron and Jonas Ennery's Prières D'un Cœur Israélite (1848), a prayerbook intended for adapting vernacular prayers in Yiddish (tkines) for reading in French by modern French Jewry. This work served as the basis for an abridged English translation by Hester Rothschild in 1855 that was authorized by Nathan Marcus Adler, Chief Rabbi of the British Empire.

I've already made an OCR of the prayerbook here, and I'm slowly copying it over to Wikisource so that everyone who wishes can help to proofread it. This OCR is much, much better than the OCR that is available from within the ProofreadPage extension here at Wikisource. I welcome your help copying over the OCR to Wikisource and proofreading it.
