small error in the scan[modifier]
In the footnote: “Nota, in vanos tumultus gens (Tit. Liv. à la prise de Rome).” This is indeed the spelling in the scanned edition but it’s not the accepted text of Livy (Liv. 5.37.8) which has the grammatically sounder nata. Since it’s an error in the printed version this will have to stay unmended. But the more recent copy I am using (Viallaneix, Petitier 2008, Éditions des équateurs) has it correct.
