However, there is a mistake for photo file names and inversion between two pages of the book.

=> in fact, there is a confusion between names of photographs of page 55 and names of photographs of page 57

=> correct photographs appears on good pages, but the names are not the good ones

A good manner to correct the problem should probably to extract the wrong photos on Commons, and put instead the correct ones in the same file name… and after, to modify file names on the two pages 55 and 57 of current book…

Please tell us if it is possible ?!

Lorlam : Hello Laurent, I suppose it is possible. But in that case, it will be necessary to move also pages 54 and 56 which are consistent with pages 55 and 57. And as a consequence, make a change on these pages (54 and 56) by changing the number on the board ("Planche").

An alternative, much easier, is to make a rectification on the sole page 20 , exchanging the 2 chapters, with explanation in discussion page.

Manseng : Bonjour Manseng, I'm french but I continue in English for 維基小霸王 wich is also in copy of the discussion : personnally, I'm not for exchanging the 2 chapters… I prefer keeping the order and the conformity with the original book. Anyway, both pages 55 and 57 shall be modified after the correction of photo names, because a comment with the good name is present in the pages for each photo, for exemple on the beginning of page 55 :

for the first photo ; comment between brackets => File:Idole d’une pagode située au nord des Lacs.jpg|500px|center|Ouverture faite par les Anglais dans la muraille de Pékin. — En avant de l’ouverture se trouve un retranchement défensif construit par les Sikhs.

=> so you have a bad file name, but a good comment :-)

If pages 55 and 57 are corrected (just for the names of photo files, not for the "visible content", the pages of pages 54 and 56 do not have to be changed. And also… it should be better to have the good names of all photos in Commons. cu Laurent --Lorlam (d) 15 mai 2020 à 14:18 (UTC)

En fait j'ai des problèmes de "refresh" sur mon navigateur, et je ne sais pas voir si les fichiers que j'ai modifiés sur Commons ont bien maintenant la bonne photo… je ne vois pas non plus correctement l'impact des modification sur Wikisource… :-( --Lorlam (d) 16 mai 2020 à 10:10 (UTC)
